<image:title>Supervision - Creative Supervision</image:title>
<image:caption>Anne has trained as a Supervisor with the Dublin Gestalt Therapy Centre. Anne also integrates Art into her Supervision Work. Art introduces a new way to view the supervision process, it involves the use of images, words, symbols and metaphors. It engages us at an emotional and cognitive level as well as giving us the opportunity to bring the body and aesthetic function into play. The use of Art can involve voice and movement exploration. The use of Art in Supervision marries well with the Gestalt Approach to Supervision; using phenomenological inquiry it explores the relationship, what we experience in the field of the Supervisor, Supervisee and the client work. We look at holding, containment of the work with exploration of parallel processes and what may get co-created in either or both the Client Therapist relationship or the Supervisee and Supervisor Relationship.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Anne offers Group Supervision in either of the Centres she works from. Group Supervision is an opportunity to have the support of colleagues and to enhance the Supervision experience by having the opportunity to explore and discuss any issues that are arising in your work. There are many advantages to Group Supervision, a shared learning experience, a wider range of professional experiences, reflections, group feedback and peer support</image:caption>

Mindfulness can be practiced in two ways by formal and informal practice. <image:title>Psychotherapy - Counselling & Psychotherapy</image:title>
<image:caption>If you are trying to deal with a crisis, bereavement, depression, difficulties in a relationship, or maybe you suffer from stress or anxiety, why not give us a call, we can help. Issues dealt with in Psychotherapy would include: Anxiety, Depression, Self-Development, Bereavement, Relationships, Life Crisis, Stress Management and Post Traumatic Stress. Psychotherapy & Counselling is an asset to self development and enhancing self-esteem. It can be a great support in times of crisis or change and can be either short-term or long-term, depending on the individual’s needs. Anne firmly believes that once people are given the right environment to address issues, they can explore and understand their difficulties in a new light, discover strengths within themselves to make any changes they may feel are appropriate, discover supports and resources that are open to them and also become more aware of their own potential and ability to cope and empower themselves. Please note that, in accordance with the Children First Act 2015, all therapists may be required, in the case of retrospective disclosures of childhood abuse by adult clients, to report such incidents where there is any current risk to any child who may be in contact with the alleged abuser revealed in such disclosures</image:caption>

<image:title>Psychotherapy - Child Art Psychotherapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Anne has an MSc in Child Art Psychotherapy from UCD and the Mater Misericordiae Hospital CAMHS, and provides Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy incorporating relevant therapies such as Child Art Psychotherapy and Therapeutic Play. For the Adolescent Anne uses a proactive approach that uses and integrates solution focused techniques along with more creative therapies so that the adolescent can look at finding solutions and working with any difficulties they have to find an understanding of how these difficulties can be resolved, developing life long learning skills to cope with stress, anxiety and build their confidence and resilience. Initially Anne would meet with one or both parents at the start of the counselling to discuss what the presenting issue is, and to discuss the process of therapy, boundaries around confidentiality and what the expectation or the hope will be from the counselling. Some of the issues dealt with are low self-esteem, confidence building, anxiety, bullying, panic attacks, stress & anger management and bereavement counselling. Doctor’s referral is not essential, but depending on the issue being dealt with it may be necessary to get a GP’s professional opinion. Note: Please note that Anne works under Tusla’s Children First guidelines and is mandated to report any incidence of abuse or neglect .</image:caption>

<image:title>Psychotherapy - Teen Counselling</image:title>
<image:caption>Anne integrates some different modalities when working with teens depending on the issues presented. Anne can use a more creative approach such as Art Psychotherapy, as well as using a more Solution Focused approach integrating different modalities. It’s always important to be able to identify the issue and work with the teen to help them see a way through their difficulties; using a solution focused style therapeutic approach is about building a relationship, identifying the problem and working together to find ways to help the young person understand the issues and how they might support themselves to reach a resolution. Their will be an initial meeting with parents and the teen to go through boundaries and Confidentiality. Depending then on the agreed amount of sessions it can be useful to have reviews with the parents and the teen to see how things are progressing and work out some helpful strategies together.</image:caption>
